The mission

An unparalleled level of teaching

"Team 91 was started with one thing in mind: to provide an unparalleled level of teaching, that which is not seen in most travel organizations. Team 91 Carolina is for the area's most committed players, who want to dedicate themselves to being the best possible lacrosse player and student-athlete they can be."

Team 91 Carolina

A two-part process

It begins at the youth level with the highest level fundamentals and lacrosse IQ, then feeds into the high school programs where college exposure and opportunities to play against the best teams in the nation present themselves.

Teams

Find your team

Club teams are built by graduation year and run summer to summer, girls and boys alike — every team below is the club's own, with the coaches the club has named.

Team lists load from the club's data file

If they have not appeared, the girls and boys teams, rosters and registration all live on LeagueApps, and the club will point you at the right graduation year.

Beyond the travel teams

No travel commitment required — the same coaching staff, closer to home, on both sides of the club.

Girls · rec & development

  • Summer Express League, four divisions, rising 2nd–11th
  • Starter Stix, ages 4–10, all gear provided

Boys · rec, box & development

Boys rec, box & development

Rec, box and small-sided lacrosse for boys, from a first stick upward.

  • Rivals Boys Rec, grades 1–6; Triangle Select "Fall Blitz", grades 6–8
  • Box lacrosse travel teams, grad years 2026–2036 (3rd–12th grade)
  • Rage in the Cage 5v5, grades 2–10; Starter Stix, ages 4–10

Schedule

Every event the club has published

Girls first, then boys, exactly as the club lists them — with the events the club is still finalising labelled as such, and the handful it dates two different ways flagged rather than quietly picked.

Every row below is rendered from the club's own event data — event, dates, location and the teams travelling to it. Kick-off times, field assignments and any change to a date come from the event organiser and from your coach.

The event list loads from the club's data file

If it has not appeared, the club's calendar and registration live on LeagueApps, game days go up on Instagram, and your coach carries the dated schedule for your team.

The two-part process, program by program

Where your player enters

Every program sits on one side of the mission or the other. Part one builds the fundamentals and the lacrosse IQ; part two takes that player to the teams, the schedule and the coaches that turn it into something.

Part one

The youth level

A focus on developing the highest level fundamentals and lacrosse IQ. Open to any family in the Triangle — you do not have to be in the travel program to start here.

Girls & boys

First stick

No experience, no gear and no season-long commitment — the first fundamentals, taught by the staff that coaches the club teams.

  • Starter Stix, ages 4–10, $20 a session, all gear provided
  • Register for a session or a month, not a season
  • Cary and Apex fields, close to home

Girls & boys

Rec & community

A real season with their friends, coached the same way the travel side is coached. Community lacrosse in Cary and Apex, all levels.

  • Girls Spring Rec, grades K–8, four divisions, uniforms included
  • Rivals Boys Rec, grades 1–6, registration at RivalsLacrosse.com
  • Triangle Select "Fall Blitz", boys grades 6–8, $225

Girls & boys

Reps & lacrosse IQ

Small-sided and indoor programs with more touches and more decisions per hour than a full-field practice can give you.

  • Summer Express League, girls rising 2nd–11th
  • Rage in the Cage 5v5 indoor, boys grades 2–10
  • Boys box lacrosse, grades 3–12, winter season
  • Full-time goalies play free in Express and box

Part two

The high school programs

Where part one feeds in: college exposure, and opportunities to play against the best teams in the nation. A spot is earned at the evaluation camp and held from summer to summer.

Girls & boys

Club & travel

The grad-year rosters that carry a player out of part one and into part two. Year-round training, and the events college coaches attend.

  • Team 91 South and Team 91 National pathways
  • A spot is earned at the evaluation camp
  • Rosters run summer to summer, with payment plans

Girls & boys

The national stage

The best teams in the nation, in front of the coaches who recruit them. Team 91 is an original and founding member of the National Lacrosse Federation, and Carolina plays under that umbrella.

  • Girls on the IWLCA circuit, boys on the NLF circuit
  • Hundreds of college coaches on the sidelines

Girls & boys

College exposure

The payoff of part two. A recruitable player leaves here with a profile, a plan and people making calls.

  • IMLCA (boys) or IWLCA (girls) SportsRecruits profile
  • Recruiting directors who run family presentations
  • Girls support begins the summer before sophomore year

How you'll hear

Girls receive an email within a few days of the evaluation. Boys rosters are posted by tryout jersey number at the end of camp, and invitations continue until rosters are full.

Can't make the date?

Email carolina@team91lacrosse.com and ask for an alternate evaluation — both programs arrange them. Spots run summer to summer.

Part two · the payoff

College exposure, and the best teams in the nation

This is the half of the mission the youth years are building toward. It is also the half a family cannot buy: it is earned in part one, and then it is played for.

Team 91 is an original and founding member of the National Lacrosse Federation — founded in 2007, an organization run by six of the leading clubs in the country. Carolina players compete under that umbrella, against the best teams in the country, in front of hundreds of college coaches.

The club publishes a girls list and a boys list separately, and never states a combined club-wide total.

A profile that coaches use

Every Carolina player in a recruitable age group gets a SportsRecruits profile and platform access — IWLCA for girls, IMLCA for boys — so you can search, connect and be seen.

Girls: IWLCA  ·  Boys: IMLCA

People who make calls for you

Two co-directors of recruiting support on the girls side, a boys recruiting coordinator with two decades of college coaching. Family presentations, introductions, and tournaments worked beside you.

Girls support begins the summer before sophomore year.

A plan, not a hope

Build a list of 15–20 schools across DI, DII and DIII, fill in the questionnaires, and email coaches before every season and every event. Don't wait to be found.

Coaches cannot contact you before September 1 of junior year. Current NCAA rules confirmed annually.

Player development, at home

Your game. Your plan.

A member benefit for every Team 91 Carolina player, girls and boys: a personal at-home training plan built from your coach's evaluation and matched to your age group and position. Your coach scores the skills, the plan rebuilds itself around the weakest ones, and you tick the drills off in the backyard.
