Team 91 Carolina · Club lacrosse in the Triangle

The Triangle's most committed players and coaches.

Best Training, Best Gear, Best Lacrosse Experience.

The mission

An unparalleled level of teaching

“Team 91 was started with one thing in mind: to provide an unparalleled level of teaching, that which is not seen in most travel organizations. Team 91 Carolina is for the area's most committed players, who want to dedicate themselves to being the best possible lacrosse player and student-athlete they can be.”

Team 91 Carolina
  • Coaching first, always

The best staff we can assemble at every age level — college players, high school head coaches and directors who have been in this game for twenty years. The teaching is the product.

  • Two programs, one standard

The girls and boys sides share the staff bar, the five practice venues, the recruiting platform and the evaluation process. Neither one is the club's side project, and both run the same two-part process.

  • Field and box, on purpose

An educational commitment to both field lacrosse and box lacrosse. The winter box program is where stick skill and decision making get sharpened, not where the season stops.

Coaching, between reps

A two-part process

“The Team 91 Carolina Mission is a two-part process that begins at the youth level for players with a focus on developing the highest level fundamentals and lacrosse IQ, then feeds into the high school programs where college exposure and opportunities to play against the best teams in the nation present themselves.”

Part two · High school

College exposure. The best teams in the nation.

Team 91 is an original and founding member of the National Lacrosse Federation — an organization run by six of the leading clubs in the country. Carolina players compete under that umbrella, against the best teams in the country, in front of hundreds of college coaches.

The club's own claim: Team 91 Carolina is the only club in Carolina with this level of access to the NLF. Claim pending club sign-off.

Part two, delivered

Where part two pays off

College exposure is the promise the mission makes. This is the record behind it — and the people whose job it is to work the process with you.

Girls commitments

38

College commitments published on our girls list across the classes of 2022 through 2025, at more than thirty different institutions.

28 Division I5 Division II5 Division III

And some of them come back. Charlotte Jackson (Louisville) and Hayden Miller (Vanderbilt) now work with our 2029 girls team as practice assistants.

Boys commitments

IMLCA

Boys commitments are maintained on the club's IMLCA SportsRecruits page rather than as a published list on the website, so there is no published boys figure to set beside the girls list above. We would rather say that than invent one.

SportsRecruitsPlatform access

A structured boys commitments list will be published here once the club supplies it — the same treatment the girls list gets above.

How the club works it with you

  • A profile that coaches use

Every Carolina player in a recruitable age group receives an IWLCA (girls) or IMLCA (boys) SportsRecruits profile and platform access, so you can search, connect and be seen by college coaches.

  • People who make calls for you

Two co-directors of recruiting support on the girls side, and a boys recruiting coordinator with two decades of college coaching. They run family presentations, make introductions and work tournaments alongside you. Girls support begins the summer before sophomore year; the boys start point is confirmed by the club.

  • A plan, not a hope

Build a list of 15–20 schools across DI, DII and DIII. Fill in the questionnaires. Email coaches before every season and every event. Coaches cannot contact you before September 1 of junior year. Current NCAA rules confirmed annually.

“You own your recruiting process. It is no one else's job to get you recruited.” From the Team 91 Carolina recruiting guide

The teaching, continued at home

Your game. Your plan.

The Power Bank — a personal at-home training plan for every Team 91 Carolina player, boys and girls, built from your coach's evaluation and matched to your age group, your program, and your game. Fundamentals you can work in the backyard, on your schedule, between practices.

  • Girls program

Every player on every girls team, the class of 2027 down to Futures.

  • Boys program

Every player on every boys team, Varsity and Prep down to 2037/38.

How the plan gets built — the same four steps in both programs

  1. Register Pick your program, age-group team and position, say what you want to improve, and a starter drill set lands straight away.
  2. Get evaluated Your coach rates position-specific skills after practices and games.
  3. The plan rebuilds Publishing that evaluation rebuilds the plan around your weakest skills, with age-appropriate reps and sessions per week — and always keeps one drill that sharpens a strength.
  4. Work it at home Check drills off daily, track your weekly consistency, and watch the demo videos.

Build your plan

The Power Bank runs on its own site, powerbanksports.com/team91. Register the player there with their program and team, and the first drills are waiting the moment you finish.
